© E. Westersoetebier XN730/J Lightning F2A 92Sqn, Gütersloh (23.09.1971) - This Lightning F2A had to land on a carpet of foam in September 1971. The reason for this emergency landing was a broken bolt of the left maingear which prevented the gear to retract. Even worse the tire stopped in a position which was 90 degrees to the runway.
