Because of an open nozzle problem the pilot of DA+129 decided to do an emergency landing at Gütersloh. To shorten the flight he landed with tail wind while the aircraft had a a speed of ca. 380 km/h. Because of the "wrong" landing direction the barrier on runway 27 was still up. Shortly before touch down the net barrier ripped off the nosewheel and the external tanks. While touching down the main wheel collapsed and the aircraft slipped into the grass at the side of the runway. DA+129 had to be withdrawn from use and got carried away by truck days later.
