Hello everybody,
Can anybody from this excellent website please help me out with any photos they may have of British aircraft based in Germany since 1945 for a book that I`m in the process of writing on this subject? Anything sent would be very much appreciated such as Tornado`s, Buccaneers, Phantoms, Harriers, Lightning, Chinook, Puma, Wessex etc and I`m especially `thin on the ground' when it comes to 1940`s, 50`s and 60`s aircraft like the Mosquito, Vampire, Venom, Sabre,Hunter F4 and Canberra`s, especially those from 551 Wing based at Gutersloh. If anybody can please help I would be really grateful and of course you would be fully credited,

Did Marcus already email you? I think it was you that send us a list of pictures you would like to use in your book. The problem is always that we have to ask the photographers of every photo for permission to use it anywhere else than here. As far as I remember you asked for the Canberras of 551 Wing. It's not easy to get in contact with the photographers as I can't access ServicePals anymore. Most of the Canberra were from there.
